Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County
IMA has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County for the 2018 Summit philanthropic initiative. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. As members of the IMA, we have an opportunity to impact the lives of children within the Orange County community, the county of IMA's 2018 Summit location: Newport Beach, CA. IMA will raise donations of cash, gift cards, and merchandise which will be invested toward the nonprofit's youth mentoring program.
Become a "Big" at the IMA/BBBS: Industry Workshop for Bigs and Littles
Tues. July 24 | 4:00 - 5:00 pm
We are working with Big Brothers Big Sisters to host a unique IMA workshop experience for youth "Littles" participating in the mentoring program. IMA Bigs will provide examples of education, networking, and collaboration within our fields and give Littles the opportunity to present content and share during one-on-one discussions. An IMA Big is responsible for answering questions about our industry and working with Littles to solve industry dilemmas during the workshop session.
Agenda:
- IMA Industry Introduction: Introduction to the incentive industry for Littles.
- High School Bigs & Workplace Mentoring Littles Share their experience: High School Bigs and Workplace Mentoring Littles share their experience in the program and what BBBS means to them.
- Bigs and Littles Solve an Industry Dilemma: IMA Bigs will match up with Littles and work through an activity together.
