IMA Strengthens its Core Leadership By Hiring Industry Veteran as New Executive Director

INCENTIVE MARKETING ASSOCIATION STRENGTHENS ITS CORE LEADERSHIP BY HIRING INDUSTRY VETERAN AS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Industry veteran, Donna Chrobak, accepts key position at the Incentive Marketing Association
Chicago, IL (January 19, 2015) – The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) today announced the appointment of Donna Chrobak, to the role of Executive Director, overseeing the activities of the IMA and its 8 Strategic Industry Groups, including the Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC), the Incentive Manufacturers and Representatives Alliance (IMRA), the Performance Improvement Council (PIC), the Recognition Council (RC), the Incentive Travel Council (ITC), IMA Europe, IMA Canada, and the Global Incentive Council (GIC).
Chrobak brings more than 20 years of incentive industry knowledge and executive leadership to the Chicago-based organization, including design and execution of performance improvement and recognition programs, gift cards, and incentive technology platforms and has been a successful business owner and entrepreneur.
“Donna’s experience and leadership will help the IMA maintain its role as the preeminent source of information about the use of incentives in business. She has the real world experience that will help the IMA and our members become more effective in advocating the use of incentives in the corporate world,” stated Richard Low, president of the Incentive Marketing Association.
“In recent years we’ve seen a lot of changes in the incentive industry and the general marketplace,” stated Chrobak. “Working with IMA to adapt to these changes and continue to build value for our members is a tremendous opportunity that I am excited to be a part of,” added Chrobak.
Chrobak is a former member of IMA and has served on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. A Chicago native, Chrobak currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband.
