Corporate Outreach

In the July 21, 2014 issue, Bloomberg Businessweek will be creating special content on the benefits of incentive marketing.

This custom content will feature interviews and information on our industry and will provide nearly 4 million business readers information on the why, what, how and when to use incentives. Full page advertisers will have an opportunity for a photo of their product within the story, and 250 words of text through interviews and other information to promote their products and services.

Industry News

Michelle M. Smith, CPIM, O.C. Tanner, and Rick Blabolil, CPIM, Marketing Innovators, became the newest members of the Business Marketing Association International Board of Directors in October. They will lead the development of a research arm The initiative will be built through a partnership with the academic institution The Forum: Business Results Through People. Blackhawk Network announced it has completed the acquisition of InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions(TM). Upon the close of the acquisition, InteliSpend will operate as a business unit of Blackhawk, reporting directly to Talbott Roche, Blackhawk Network president, and will remain headquartered in Fenton, MO.

On a personal note close to many IMA members’ hearts, Karen Renk, CAE has officially retired as the Executive Director of IMA. We wish her well in the next phase of her journey.

IMA Vice President Richard L. Low has been appointed Vice President, Special Markets for the Citizen Watch Company. Low began his new position on November 11, 2013.
